Qld: PM Rudd says Obama's achievement extraordinary
KEVIN RUDD's praised the achievements of BARACK OBAMA .. who's about to accept the
Democratic US presidential nomination at a mass rally in Denver .. Colorado.
The prime minister says he spoke with Senator OBAMA on the phone last week .. describing
him as a very warm person.
Mr RUDD's told Fairfax Radio they discussed future plans for the Asia-Pacific region
and climate change during the conversation.
